Reading… I just finished Tomorrow, & Tomorrow & Tomorrow. A friend recommended it and I kept seeing it in bookstores, finally got to reading it! I liked that it was a different plot then I had read lately, about friends who started a game developer company.
Listening to… On the drive to Ocean City I finally got to listening to How I Built This episode with guest Maureen Kelly, the Founder of Tarte Cosmetics. I use a few of Tarte’s products, and I love a female founder so I was keen to listen. Her story was very interesting, more so than I expected. I really appreciated her hustle when she started, and how much she preserved through the tragedy in her personal life.
New find… Uncomplikated SPF 50 Soft Focus Makeup Setting Spray. My girlfriend had this on my bach trip and I really liked it. I’ll see use & swear by my Ulta MD SPF, but I this is great when you need to reapply, or if you’re going to be in the sun all day, as an additional layer on top of your makeup.
Wearing… Been loving this Cashew Garden Midi Dress by Farm RIO. The fabric is super lightweight, so it’s nice even though it’s midi length, I’ve kept cool on hot days.
