I grew up spending summers at the beach in Ocean City, MD – our condo is right next to Fenwick Island, DE. During COVID, Drew and I left SF and spent a couple months living in the condo in the Fall to escape the wildfires and get a general change of scenery.
I went on my usual morning run through the top of OC into DE, and I loved admiring all the beach homes. So much charm. There were also a couple new builds and renovations in process. When I went back over this past 4th of July, many were finished, which was fun to see what their final form was. There’s a mix of traditional beach homes with the Cedar Shingles and some of the new builds that are modern. Both of those chose play into beach environment beach with their colors.
