While a lot of my wardrobe is neutral colors, I’m a fan of statement pieces that stand out and sprinkling them into my normal attire. Now that Spring has come around, I’m looking into some lighter toned ones.
Recent favorite is this pink tweed jacket. With all the recent Barbie trailers, it was giving me an Elle Woods moment kinda feel. It’s also easy to make it more casual with a pair of flats, and I’m just wearing a simple white tee underneath.
Another recent favorite statement piece is one by Farm Rio (and all their statements, really??) Fresh Lemons blouse. I recognize that the bright, vibrant statement pieces aren’t everyone’s style – however every time I wear one, I get the most compliments then when I’m in my more neutral attire.
