Quick Figs & Goat Cheese Appetizer
A super-simple, quick appetizer. Fresh figs stuffed with any creamy, flavorful cheese. I went with a creamy goat cheese, optionally drizzled with balsamic vinegar.
Prep Time 15 minutes mins
- 12 figs washed
- 2 ounces soft goat cheese
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar optional
Cut figs in half, or quarters depending on their size,
Use your fingers to roll the goat cheese into teaspoon-sized balls
Press a cheese ball into the center of each fig. Plate them.
Optional - Drizzle with vinegar. Serve within an hour.
The figs I purchased were quite large, so I ended up cutting them into quarters to be bite-size. If they're small, you can just halve them.
I tried the recipe with and without the balsamic drizzle, I preferred without.
